How to troubleshoot a dual-boot system that fails to load any OS after a power outage?
I have a hackintosh system with Windows 10 and macOS installed using OpenCore. The system was off when a power outage occurred. When I turned it on, I could access the BIOS and OpenCore menus, but neither OS would boot successfully. On macOS, I got a grey/black screen after the Apple logo. On Windows, I got no device signal after the spinning dots. I tried the following steps, but none of them worked:
Unplugging the PSU and pressing the power button for 30 seconds
Resetting the CMOS
Reconnecting the GPU
Checking the PSU voltage with a multimeter
Unplugging the PSU and waiting for an hour
What could be the cause of this problem? Is it possible that the GPU is damaged or the OS files are corrupted? How can I fix this issue?
